Tolbo Lake

75 kilometres towards South of Ulgii, in the centre of the province of Bayan-Ulgii, there is Tolbo Lake, ”Spot lake”. It extends on 185 square kilometres (71,43 miles) in the heart of the Altai range, at more than 2000 metres (1,24 mile) above the sea level. Tolbo Lake’s water is particularly clear. The road that leads there passes along glaciers and, in Winter, it’s possible to drive on the iced lake.

This is one of historical place and biggest lake in Mongolia, was battle here in 1921 between the Bolsheviks and White Russians.
Even lake is saline there are fishes as Cyprinus carpio, brachymystax lenok.
